This RTG64XLP Rheem Tankless WH stopped working

Rheem tech suggested a new electrode


This kind of thing happens way too often


Bought it because it would go easy on the solar







All looks well


What's that flare about?


It still doesn't work


Since learned that a new high tech WH
should work just fine

Careful: I bent one of the hose connectors here

The original 15 amp circuit breaker tripped


Replaced it with a 20 amp








Reduced 120 degree temp to 100 - too low





Reattaching heat tapes to shortened copper pipes

Raised temp control to about 110 - seems to be OK

Making sure the trucked in water is clean.
