Eileen’s Shop

As we wander through our routine of buying things, using them for awhile, moving them around, giving them to the needy (our kids), shoving them into the attic, throwing them out – we may not think too much about where something came from or where it will go; we just use it and enjoy it - though now and then we may ponder: “Where is the damn thing ...”.

Well, there is that almost ethereal possibility that it has found its way to a place somewhere within Eileen’s small but endless shop, something of a loving halfway house for the unwanted in need of rediscovery.

Most of Eileen’s treasures come from consignees trying to clean out their attics, figuratively or literally; seeking to lighten their loads or make space in their lives. Whatever the reason, the continuous flow of goods and the variety is fascinating.

Each item was basically something that someone needed to part with, and yet when it leaves the shop it is in the quietly excited hands of somebody who prizes it as a new found treasure.

We are in Mashpee and would very much like to bring some things in. We have a lot of Holiday stuff plus some furniture.

What day do you do consigning?

The shop is open Friday through Sunday.

However, it would probably be a good idea to call 508 888-1014 now to discuss what you would like to consign, and to set up an appointment.
Open Friday through Sunday, 2:00 to 6:00+, weather
permitting, year around. All china at half price.
