Another way to position the PVC anchor.

I don't believe I found bottom here so this hole would be about 3' deep. Lined it with roofing paper, wet it down, and scooped in the concrete.

Immediately the wheelbarrow, hoe & plastic scooping bucket get rinsed clean and the rinse water dumped where it won't discolor the natural terrain.

Removed the paper the next day and filled in the hole with mud so it won't leach moisture out of the cement that is still curing.

A day or two later, the PVC anchor gets cut to length to fit inside the hole in the bottom of the post that is fitted over it.

The 2x8 ties and locks all posts together so that we now have a good solid rack carrying the trailer's iron frame near the axle.

Ultimately this post ends up carrying a complex load coming in from all directions.

This will be the one to watch over the years to see how it taking the load.
