The Door, Part 1

Condensed version:
Found it in the weeds, broken; near death.

Began to resuscitate...

A new lease on life.

How it was done:
Heavy door: iron piano hinge, foot, stop, latch assembly. Tin casing. Hardwood guts

Jamb wobbled where door hangs. Removed screen pocket. Added steel and screws.

Glued, screwed int. and ext. plywood so it became 1 solid unit holding itself steady.

Door hung well; hinge screws got a good bite. It is warped but so is the trailer.

It fits!
