The following was added nearly a year later from 3000 miles away to show a neighbor how to adjust this Wasserstein timer.
Fortunately, these pictures had been taken before my departure two weeks prior.

3 PM - AC on

6 PM - AC off
May 21: So far, the new Frigidaire air conditioner is working pretty well, as long as it is running. I am watching a La Crosse weather clock through a Logitech camera that also sees the computer and the door.

I had set the timer to shut off at 4 PM to give the battery bank time to recharge a little before sundown. Yesterday, the inside temperature went from 89 at 3 PM to 99 at 6 PM, while outside it was cooling off.

Therefore I am giving the AC another three hours. If the power cuts off during the night, perhaps that would be better than the batteries getting too hot. It will come back on after the sun comes over the hill and hits the panels around 8:15 in the morning.
