(Hey – some people might even find this interesting!)  It gets into the techniques I have developed over the years to assure that a post will not move up, down or sideways (in flood, hurricane, earthquake or festive gathering), and yet maintains a certain degree of flexibility so that it can adjust to ambient conditions and time.
