Anchor Up

& before filling. On my 1st 2 posts, 3 and 6, I tried hard to get everything perfectly in line, because these 2 would be the main weight barrers of the rack carrying the trailer.

Anchor Down.

This temporary 2x4 and misc. assure that the PVC anchor will be vertical. Later I found that there were other ways to compensate, as depicted on the Posts page and others.

   Cut to Length

after the cement cured. Ready to fit inside the 5” hole in the bottom of the post. This was actually cut to almost 6” to allow for the 1” foot.

Posts 3 and 6 were set in place after jacking up the beam and trailer, then the latter were let down on top of the posts.

After the bracing was in, the blocks were removed from beneath the axle.
