The November Trip To Joshua Tree, 2001

Breakfast in Mystic after leaving the Cape

Visiting my sister Hannah in New Jersey.

Heading west, at long last, on I40

The Coconino National Forest outside of Flagstaff

About to descend this road unaware that a trailer wheel is hanging by a thread.

God held it together into Tempe. The
pin had sheared off (green arrow) and this
cavity (red) had kept the wheel from falling.

As a trucker frantically waved us off the road, we literally dropped into Harvil's Body Shop.

As they jacked up the trailer, the wheel fell off. These guys went right to work on it.

A brand new axle, wheel hubs and spring brackets.  The old lies in the background.

Ready to go at dusk the following day.
(I added the glow to make it visible.)

On the Los Angeles road to Joshua Tree

Taking a shortcut through the JT National Park. My land is on the other side.

Eileen wanted to get out and pet it
