Frederick Earle Blakeman(Victoria, British Columbia)says...
Just started a search of my family to find my roots and they all seem to be leading me to the south east part of the U.S. I know my Grandfather and his brother both fought in World War I. One survived and the other has his name on the cenotaph in Vimy France. Is there any "Blakeman" out there who can help me track down my lost and elusive family? Thanks!

Have been researching my husband's family -- the Giles of Salem/Marblehead. Wondered if you have any interest in following that line? If so, I'd be delighted to share what I have found!

Hi Cynthia,

We are only doing Blakeman's on this page, which includes John Giles Jr and his children, since his mother is Hannah Blakeman.

However, I have sent him a copy of this in case he would like to explore the heritage of his father’s family, in which case he would need to contact you directly.

I am Lynn Smith Blakeman. My Grandfather was Glenn Blakeman. His Father was George. It appears that we come from the same line as my genology comes from the same placed you mention.
